What is a Buttock Augmentation?
A Buttock Augementation procedure uses solid silicone implants which are surgically placed into the buttocks via an incision in between the butt cheeks. This procedure is sometimes combined with fat grafting for maximum results.
How long will Buttock Augmentation Surgery take?
The procedure will take around 2 – 5 hours, you will either be treated as a Daycase or you may need to spend the night, Dr Sof will discuss this with you at your consultation
What is the Aftercare following A Buttock Augmentation Procedure?
For aftercare from your procedure, you will be asked to avoid prolonged sitting for about two weeks. This is very important because prolonged sitting will damage the fat. You will also be encouraged to sleep face down or on your side. When you do have to sit, you will have to use a pillow or cushion placed behind the legs (hamstring muscles) to help raise the buttocks, avoiding pressure onto the fat grafts. You can generally resume exercise after six to eight weeks.
